AJEB follow the following editorial policies for both online or print:
Peer Review
As required and or requested AJEB follows both the single blind and double blind peer-review procedure for submissions of all manuscripts to its journal. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to an extensive peer review in consultation with members of the journal’s editorial board and independent external referees (usually 2-3 reviewers). All articles are assessed rapidly and the decision is then conveyed to the author(s). Please also read our Terms of Use policy for more details.
Acknowledgement
Individuals who participated in the development of a manuscript but do not qualify as an author should be acknowledged. Organizations that provided support in terms of funding and/or other resources should also be acknowledged.
Changes in Authorship
Any change in authors after initial submission must be approved by all authors. This applies to additions, deletions, change of order to the authors. Any alterations must be explained to the editor. The editor may contact any of the authors to ascertain whether they have agreed to any alteration.
Confidentiality
A submitted manuscript is a confidential material. AJEB will not disclose submitted manuscript to anyone except individuals who are involved in the processing and preparation of the accepted manuscript for publication. These individuals include editorial staff, corresponding authors, reviewers, and editors. However, in suspected cases of misconduct, a manuscript may be revealed to members of AJEB ethics committee and institutions/organizations that may require it for the resolution of the misconduct.
Copy-editing and Proofs
Articles must be written in good English in a clear and correct style in order to maintain uniformity throughout the text. Articles submitted are copyedited before they are published.
Reprints
High-quality, bound/unbound, print/e-prints can be purchased for all published.
Appeals and Complaints
Generally, editorial decisions are not reverted. However, authors who think that their manuscript was rejected due to a misunderstanding or mistake may seek an explanation for the decision. Appeals must give strong reasoning and compelling evidence against the criticism raised in the rejection letter. A difference of opinion as to the interest, novelty, or suitability of the manuscript for the journal will not be considered as an appeal. The editorial team will consider the appeal and the decision thereafter taken by the journal will be deemed final. Acceptance of the manuscript is not guaranteed even if the journal agrees to reconsider the manuscript, and the reconsideration process may involve previous or new reviewers or editors and substantive revision.

Conflict of Interest
To avoid potential conflicts of interest AJEB ask authors, reviewers and editors to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and
The authors should disclose all financial/relevant interest that may have influenced the development of the manuscript.
Reviewers should disclose any conflict of interest and if necessary, decline the review of any manuscript if the author belongs to the same research organization or university or the author is a recent collaborator, family member, or a close personal friend.
Editors should also decline from considering any manuscript that may have a conflict of interest. Such manuscripts will be re-assigned to other editors.
Plagiarism Prevention
AJEB screen all accepted for plagiarism prior to publication. We use effective software solutions to detect plagiarism. We investigate all cases of alleged misconduct including, but not limited to, plagiarism, inappropriate data processing, and duplicate publication. Depending on the outcome of our investigation, we may publish a correction, ask authors to retract their paper, or publish an editorial statement of concern. In cases where we are considering revoking acceptance, retracting a published article, or issuing an editorial statement of concern, we will contact the corresponding author’s institution during the course of our investigation.
Open Access
AJEB recommends that all the accepted articles should be published online for free open access. Open access publishing provides maximum dissemination of the article to the largest audience. Prior to publication, all authors should check with their funding agency (if any) to ensure that they are in full compliance with open access requirements. All authors will be asked to indicate whether or not they wish to have their paper made freely available on publication through the open access mechanism. In case authors do not select the ‘Open Access’ option, then their article will be published with standard subscription-based access.
Copyright
All Editors/Authors who contribute in AJEB are provided with the option of keeping the article copyright with themselves, or to transfer copyright of their work to the journal. If the authors choose to transfer the copyright to AJEB, the principal/corresponding author will be required to submit a Copyright Letter along with the manuscript, on behalf of all the co-authors (if any). The author(s) will confirm that the manuscript (or any part of it) has not been published previously or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submission of a manuscript to the respective journals implies that all editors/authors have read and agreed to the content of the copyright letter.
Furthermore, any illustration, structure, or table that has been published elsewhere must be clearly reported, and copyright permission for reproduction must be obtained and submitted to AJEB.
Errata and Corrections in Published Articles
Authors and readers are encouraged to notify the Editorial team if they find errors in published content, or if they have reasons for concern over the legitimacy of a publication. In such cases the journal will publish an ERRATUM in consultation with editorial team and authors of the article, and/or replace or retract the article.
Article Withdrawal
Editor may withdraw the articles in Press (articles which have not been formally published with volume/issue/page information) that include errors, or are determined to violate the publishing ethics guidelines.
Article Retraction
Published articles that infringe professional ethical codes, such as multiple submissions, plagiarism, fake data are retracted. AJEB’s Retraction policy is based on guidelines and standards developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Please click here to view the document to understand our retraction policy.
Creative Commons Copyright License used by AJEB
AJEB allow its readers to reuse and remixing of the published article contents in accordance with a Creative Commons license [CC BY-NC-ND, Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs]. It allows users to download and share articles with others, without modifying authors credit for non-commercial purpose. Details on this license can be found on the Creative Commons website.
Re-publication
Abstracts and posters of conferences, results presented at meetings are not considered prior publication.
Permission of Reproduction
Published material should not be included unless written permission has been obtained from the copyright holder, which should be forwarded to the Editorial Office in case of acceptance of the article for publication.
